The top 5 mice for Fortnite season 5. This is a review that I wanted to make for quite some time because many players ask what mouse they should buy.
In this review, I will give you five good choices for all price points. The top 5 mice I’m going to be explaining why your mouse in Fortnite matters. So your mouse is just like all the other gaming peripherals that you have.
It just controls your precision aim and your movements in-game. Those mechanics are arguably some of the most important, and if you have a good mouse that has a good sense or you’ll be able to do that more fluidly. Your mouse can also control your input delay depending on the type of switch under the mouse buttons your mouse has.
It can control how fast or slow your mechanics, edits builds, and the aim is it’s essential that you play on a DPI in a comfortable sense, and a mouse with 20000 DPI won’t necessarily benefit you. Nobody plays on 20000 DPI.
However, if you guys want to track and move places properly, you should get a mouse without a proper sensor because you may have noticed if you’ve ever played with a non-gaming mouse that when you flick, it doesn’t flick. It kind of just as a bit of a circle due to the sensor technology on that type of mouse.
If you have a good mouse with good glides, suitable sensors, and good switches, you’ll be able to do everything a lot easier also, often, the lifespan for these types of mice is way longer than other types. Mice with better technology and better sensors have a longer lifespan, which means that they have more clicks in them and have a better sensor lifespan.
All in all, you can spend less money for a mouse to the last longer, and on top of all of this, a lot of mice that are gaming mice are a lot cheaper than expensive work much.
Now I’m going to be going over the criteria for the mouse picks that I’m going to be making, so the requirements are pretty simple and basic.
The first 1 is the price; price is an essential factor all around. You need to know the price or something before you purchase it also see if it is worth your money. So the second main factor that I’m going to be going over is the mouse’s weight, which is one essential thing for Fortnite.
If a mouse is lighter, your mechanics will be better, and if a mouse is heavier, your aim will be better. The third factor that I’m going to be looking into for these mice is the features that it has so this can include the glides of the mouse, the switches on the mouse, the side buttons, the sensors, it can pretty much include anything that makes this mouse a unique type of product.
I talk about the DPI have these mice, the speed, and the actual purchase rate. So the final set of criteria for these mice is the bang for your Buck factor. This goes over everything we’ve already gone over before, and it compares it to the price, seeing if this mouse is worth your money or not. But realistically, those are the five criteria and now let’s get into these mice.

Cooler Master MM 710
The Cooler Master MM 710 comes in at 50 US dollars, and it weighs 53 grams. Because it weighs 53 grams, it is one of the lighter mice on this list. It also has good glides and also a perfect sensor.
Its sensor can go up to 20,000 DPI in its glides are made out of 95 percent PTFE feet. What that means is, this mouse will glide very on various mousepads, and then again, you can also get hyper glides or other third-party mouse feet. This mouse is 7 out of 10.
- Very lightweight
- Good Performance
- Unattractive Design
- Bare-Bones Software
- Feels fragile
Glorious Model O Wireless
The Glorious Model Wireless Mouse came out at the end of 2020, and it comes in at 80 US dollars. It weighs 69 grams, and it is wireless, so it’s easier to control with your hand, and it also comes with perfect PTFE feet. Once again, this means that it will glide very well on mousepads, especially cloth mousepads; it will float very well on.
It also has a 30,000 DPI sensor. Suppose you want to go that high. This mouse has a very cool ergonomic design, and it has very responsive side buttons. I have used this mouse at least five times, and it is perfect when you use it. So the bang for your Buck score is going to be a 9 out of 10.
- Comfortable for medium and large size hands.
- Smooth gliding experience.
- Too big for small size hands.
Razor Viper Ultimate
The Razor Viper Ultimate does come in at the steep price of 150 US dollars, but that also includes the charging docks so that you will not need to charge it. This mouse is wireless, and it comes in at 74 grams in weight.
The thing that makes this mouse unique is that it has an optical switch under its mouse buttons. These will give you the fastest response, literally actuating at the speed of light. The way the technology works is to send a beam of light, and that’s how it actuates.
This mouse comes with good glides, by far the best that I’ve used on any Razer mouse ever, and it’s once again wireless, and it has the razor optical sensor. This sensor is arguably one of the most responsive sensors that I use. So I would highly recommend if you are looking for sensitivity
- 20k CPI sensor
- Long battery life
- Ambidextrous design
- Fewer programable buttons.
The Ninja Air 58 has some issues with the price. When this mouse initially launched, it was $90, but in actuality, you can find it on Amazon and eBay, selling for around $600. So obviously it depends what price you get it at but for the most part, let’s say that it’s about $90. Ninja Air 58 comes in at 58 grams, just as the name implies, and it is also the easiest to control because of how amazing the glides are.
The glides on this mouse are arguably the best that I’ve ever used. So obviously, if you guys can get it at that $90 price point, this one is going to be a 10 out of 10. However, just because it’s not available right now, I would say that it’s around an 8 out of 10.
- Super Light
- Flawless 3360 PWM Sensor
- Limited Availability
- 500Hz polling rate
G Pro X Super Light
I will not be including the G Pro Wireless on this list simply because the G pro-X Super Light is a better version of the G Pro Wireless. So this mouse comes in at a whopping $150. The G pro weighs 62 grams, and it has excellent glides.
It has an excellent wireless light speed sensor. It doesn’t have any of those fancy optical switches or doesn’t have the greatest glides. However, you can purchase glides alongside this mouse. Because the price is the same as the Razor Viper Ultimate, I’m going to give this mouse 8 out of 10.
This mouse also can ship very quickly. It’s in serious stock, so I would highly recommend that you try to purchase this mouse.
- Great built quality.
- Extremely light
- Low click latency
- Too large for small hands.
If you are looking to get a new one for competitive Fortnite. Glorious also makes a variety of other products like mouse bungees, mousepads, and keyboards. So, all in all, I think that the best mouse for a competitive fortnight is the Glorious Model O Wireless.
